Many of you would be familiar with our publications. Along with publication of books we are also into magazine publication (Journalism).
In 1978 our company took an entry into journalism by the start of a magazine named Putani (A children’s magazine). This is how we came into this line.
In 1980 we took an entry into publication by publishing detective novels. Within a span of 10 years our company published around 300+ detective novels. We very proudly say that we have published almost all leading writers in our brand.
After getting a considerable response for detective novels our company took next step by bringing out a detective magazine named “Spy”. The first issue was brought out in the month of November 1985, which had columns and novels from leading most writers of that period.
Seeing the response from Spy we brought out another magazine named Hamsaraga (Women’s Monthly magazine) in the month of September 1989, which was very well received by readers.
Seeing the response, we started to publish social novels which again covered the top writers of that period. We very proudly say that our company has published more than 150 novels under the banner of Keerthi Prakashana and Sri Lakshmi Prakashana.
This further encouraged us to start an astrological magazine. In November 1999, the first issue of “Thaaradarshini” was launched (astrological magazine). Again we got an overwhelming response from readers and leading astrologers.
In 2004 our publication Sapthagiri Prakashana took a new turn by publishing Astrological, spiritual, and Devotional books. With good support from readers and writers, we very proudly say our publication has crossed 200+ books in its band.
All this was able to achieve mainly because of the support of readers, writers and distributors. Without their support, our company wouldn’t have achieved this goal. So a special thanks to all of you. Now our company is entering into an online world. We are also planning to bring out E-Books which we expect that you will support us to the maximum extent.
